- I am behind you Jason. I agree that the new "Walker" should come with NO
- less than a 68040. With it, we could have good speed Mac emulation with
- ShapeShifter. Texture Mapped games could play in full speed. With the
- 040 and 060 code being so similar, things will be optimized for them
- instead of for the 030 which many times leaves the faster CPUs running
- the same speed or slower than the 030. An 040/060 CICS remnant machine
- is the only logical thing. While I am attempting to be happy with
- whatever AT chooses to do, I must admit I am disappointed as well.
- Maybe Dave Haynie will try to get it through to them that a FULL 68040
- is what should be in the new "Walker". Fingers crossed.
